The probability is that if the enclosure failed, which I respectfully doubt, transfering the drive to another el cheapo enclosure would have been equally effective other than you profit would have been less. Perhaps that is the key :-). Branded components do not equate to quality but do equate to inflated prices. |

The fact is, branded, and tested, components equate to fewer call backs, and
less "loss of profit", for me. No computer tech wants to spend 1/2 - 1 hour trouble shooting a problem caused by a piece of hardware that he made $5.00 on. I also supply only Antec power supplies in the computers I build. They cost about 4 times what I could supply "el cheapo" power supplies for.
