driver location and automatic install

I'm building a windows xp computer in a car, and it will be controlled by a
touchscreen with no keyboard. Is there a way to store my drivers on the
hard drive so that anytime a peice of hardware is install it pulls the
drivers from that one place and doesn't ask me where to find them? I'm
running into problems when i move USB devices from one port to another, it
forgets that it was installed.
