Default External Hard drive problem

My OS is Windows XP SP2 with the latest updates. When I connect and external
hard drive via a USB port I get the pop up that ask me what I want to do
"Copy Pictures, Use Windows Explorer, Do Nothing, etc.". In most cases I
highlight the Do Nothing command and just proceed. At times this popup
randomly appears, most of the time this is not a problem. The problem is with
some programs ,Acronis, in this case, if the pop up appears, it causes an
error in the imaging program and stops the image transfer. Is there a way to
turn this pop up off uhen using the hard drive?

Hi,
I think you could get a high qualified help on official Acronis support
forum http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=64
or ask support@acronis.com
Good luck!
