I am trying to add a new device via the usb port on my computer. Usually it
automatically displays a window informing me that a new device has been found. But when I put this device in via the usb port nothing happens. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -- mmmmmm |

What is the name/model# of the usb device you speak of..?

Is device recognized in Device manger?
Is device seen in My computer? Is device seen in disk management? Start>Run>compmgmt.msc -- Dennis S. I''m from Illinois. I hope I helped you. Good Luck.
