Default Re: switching a master drive w/o reinstalling os

thanks for the help so far now upon acrtually getting into matters i
realised what sony had done when building the comp is take a single
hard drive and partition it into a c and a d now using acronis it keeps
trying to clone the partitions as well I dont want to partition the
new drive especially because the partitioning seems backwards to me
since the c partition is smaller by far. I just need the data from the
c(os and settings and all that jazz) to put onto my new drive so i can
reformat and repartition the old drive so i have two unpartitioned
drives. Any help here would be appreciated. I need a way to just get
the data from the C to put onto the new HD. thanks all.
