Is hibernation mode relevant for a desktop computer? From all I see it is
relevant for laptops only. |

Well,if ur in an area prone to power outages, then, yes. You see, when there is a power outage and ur in the middle of something really important, going into hibernation saves you form a lot of frustration, since it starts off right from where you last stopped. -- deathdemon89 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ deathdemon89's Profile: http://www.techenclave.com/forums/member.php?u=1986 View this thread: http://www.techenclave.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=57812 The Tech SuperSite for India - www.techenclave.com |

With an external powersupply (batteryoperated like APC) hibernation on a
desktop is usefull, otherwise useless. Opa. Further if you have a power loss while hibernating you will not lose data. Peter |
