My boss has a Dell Dimension 8100 and has about 8-10 USB devices plugged into
it. Periodically it locks up. What is XP's limit has to how many USB devices it can support? The computer has about 6 USB ports on the back and two in the front. |

The limit is 127 devices, if the Windows system is working correctly.
The problem sound like the PC can not provide enough power to handle all the USB devices connected. This is where powered USB hubs can help.
