I've had more clogs on my Epson than my daughter has on her DeskJet, and the
only way of cleaning was to take the machine apart. First time was a real bear. I'm better at it now. Good color image quality; my daugter borrowed it while I fixed her HP, and she wanted to keep it when I had the HP ready to give back to her (different problem on the HP) because she liked the print quality so well. Epson uses a lot of ink on all those cleaning cycles, and it all ends up in that porous fiber mat in the bottom of the machine--a real mess. Of course, any ink jet does that. You pays your money and takes your choice, I think.
