Hi all.
I have just loaded the latest Ge Force driver 81.85 and noticed that it was not WHQL certified. I then noticed that most of the previous drivers in the Nvidia archive were not certified either except for one or two going back in time and I am wondering if Nvidia are no longer showing whether their drivers are certified or not and if not, why have they stopped doing it. When I installed the driver, Windows (XP) gave me the usual non compliance warning but I installed it anyway but where does this leave us if we have video problems? Is it safe to continue using non WHQL'd drivers? Any clarification would be much appreciated. Portsmouth UK |
