I have installed a second hard drive and a 1394 firewire card. Windows
detects both, the HD even works, but it keeps telling me that it can not find
a driver. The 1394 card gave the same result, and per the manual that came
with it I located a VIA 1394 driver. Even after downloading the driver I had
to tell windows exactly where it was or it would not see it. I installed the
driver and then it added a 1394 NIC and installed the driver. When any
device is connected to the cars it also can not find the drivers for it.
Please help!!! Thanks!!!

XP should have the drivers,specifically device mgr should install both auto.
If SP2 is installed,thier is a hotfix for device mgr,its #893249
