Default Ok so I've got an SATA harddrive, WD 200GB and..

Ok so here's the thing.

I just custom built an extreme system for myself, still waiting on the
backorder of AMD X2.

I've got some problems, not really problems. But just annoyances.
Maybe some of you can help.

One WD 200GB hard drive. and a DVD +/- R/RW burner.
It's a "MAD DOG" brand and haven't had a single problem with ANY MAD
DOG stuff I use.

the DVD Burner (As with ALL CD type drives I've owned) come up reading
as like ATA33, Why is that? I don't think that's standard, but someone
correct me if I'm wrong.

And the WD 200GB is coming up as ATA 133, yet it is SATA/150. I can't
explain this, this has happened with all SATA drives I've had. is there
some reason for this? Some switch or config option I'm missing? I'm
still researching, but maybe ya'all can help.

My system specs.

abit FATAL1TY sli Mainboard (even though I don't use nVidia, I got it
for the option of eventually testing performance)
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ overclocked from standard 2.0Ghz to 2.38Ghz (Still
remaining fairly cool and WELL within the range of safe limits)
ATI Radeon x850xt Pro.
2.0GB DDR400 Dual Channel PC3200 DDR (2x 2 sets of 1GB)
Linksys Wi-Fi card, Soundblaster Audigy Platinum, etc etc etc.

If anyone could help, it would be of the greatest level of thanks from
me
