Hey all, I am having trouble getting my floppy drive to work, I need to make
a diskette to check and repair my hard drive after booting but every time I try to access the a: drive the My Computer window switches to "not responding"...I have tried 3 different floppy drives and I get the same problem with all of them. My motherboard is brand new, all of the floppy drive I have tried are windows compatible, and the disks I inserted work fine on various other computers. Any ideas? Thanks a lot. Alex |

Go into your BIOS and see if your floppy drive has been activated. Unless it
is, your operating system will assume that you don't have a floppy drive. For most computers, holding down the DEL key during the early stages of a bootup will take you to the BIOS screen pages. |
