I have a Dell Lattitude D610 Win XP SP2. it is upgraded from 1,86Ghz to 2,13Ghz, and 512 MB to 1024MB 533Mhz DDR2. it is slow as %$@# and i cant get it to work as its suppose to. normally i would call Dell and ask them what to do or let someone come over. I threw away loads files. old stuff. Temp Files (inet, and Programs we use) and i cleaned up with the XP tools. The Laptop is fast(normally). Any ideas Greetz VTM -- Vantheman |

Otherwise, here are a few suggestions: Make sure the computer is virus/malware-free: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/...moving_Malware Slow or Sluggish Computer: http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/slowcom.htm http://aumha.org/a/health.htm - Take Out the Trash (section 4) From a hardware standpoint, make sure the computer is not using PIO mode: http://www.michna.com/kb/WxDMA.htm Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!"
