Default mouse problems

after starting my computer my cursor freezes in the center of the screen. I
restarted several times and find the same problem each time. Tried starting
in safe mode but can't.
Every time I tried it opens in regular mode. I am sending this message on
my other computer. Can you help.? Thank you.

Then the port may be not working properly. Mouse cursors don't move
unless you have something providing an input. All the hardware has to
work to do that.

If you leave Ctrl pushed in and hit Esc do you get the start menu? Just want
to see if you system is hanging up or if its actualy a mouse related problem.
Im worried because you cant get into safe mode. This isnt normal.
