New hardware wizzard
My printer works fine, but every time I use it the wizzard recognizes it as
new and wants to help me install it. Simple enough to cancel, but not very elegant.

Since posting the above I have seen the posts on the subject in the New Users Group (and learned how to spell wizard.)
