I just plugged in a mass storage device through a USB port, and it appears as
if it installed correctly. I go to "My Computer" and the device is not there. I deinstalled, rebooted, turned off all security, and plugged the device in again. I opened "Device Manager" and everything seems in order. Still no mass storage device listed in "My Computer." Have the same issue with a PC Card Adapter, and a digital video camera. Any help would be appreciated |

Right click on "my computer" and go to disk management. If you can see your
devices there when they are plugged in and there is no drive letter allocated to them then right click one and allocate a letter.
