Is adding 512 MBmemory, made by KingstonTechnology (Value Ram) compatible
with the 256 MB, that came with the new Compaq Presario SR1010NX?

Don't know about Kingston, but crucial finds the compatible ram for you.

Check the Kingston website (www.kingston.com) and see what specific
RAM module they recommend for your model.
