Default XP Home Boot Log

I have and error after running Norton AntiVirus 2006 at boot up. Error:
Application failed to initialize properly. I have to click ok to terminate
the program but Windows hangs and goes to the desktop with no icons or task
bar. I can run task manager and select log off and then click on the user
name to log back in and everything works fine.
When I boot to Safe Mode it doesn't hang. I tried disabling all the
startup programs in msconfig but still get the error. ** I did have
Spyware.Apropos.C but Norton found and removed it, it says.

Is there a way to boot step by step to see which app is causing the
hang?

I tried "Enable Boot Logging". Where is the Boot log?

I've tried the Debug mode but it hangs on Windows startup.

I'm getting desperate guys. I've been working on this thing 4 days now.

Default Re: XP Home Boot Log

Apparently it was some problem with Norton 2006. I did find out it kept
installing an older version of Live Update for some reason. But even tho I
downloaded and installed the latest version I couldn't get it to work. The
techs at Symantec said it was because of an earlier version still present.
Even after using the tool they recommended I still could not get it to work
properly.
Solution: I uninstalled it again and installed Norton AntiVirus 2005
and it worked perfect.
