Hi, I have a Wired IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0. The left-click only
works about 98% of the time. As in 2% of the time, the left-click does not register. With past mouse devices, I would open the mouse to see if there is dust stuck in the mouse. However, I can't figure out how to open this mouse. Are there any instructions on how to open this mouse? Thanks |

Oh wait. Um, I feel bad now. The left-click now works like 99.99% of
the time. Like, it took this long to confirm that it very rarely does not work. Clearing the dust helped the left-click button very much, but I wonder if there is something physically wrong with the clicking mechanism? |

If the little microswitch dies, buying an individual one will cost 1/2
the price of mouse plus shipping and taxes! Buy a new mouse if the annoyance factor is too high! Neji wrote: > Oh wait. Um, I feel bad now. The left-click now works like 99.99% of > the time. I had the same problem....I have had the mouse replaced twice. There is
a know issue with the sensor for the left click. Call Microsoft at the number below...they will replace your mouse. The people at Microsoft were very helpful and easy to deal with. Microsoft parts and replacement 1 800 360-7561 |
