The Sony LCD TV support this resolution in order to use the widescreen format but I can't make my PC understand to switch to this resolution. It seems not to be supported. No problem with 1024x768 or 800x600 resolution...Thanks again for your help and sorry for my english :-( Ciao Ale |

The best that it will support is 1.33 standard format that displays the black bars on the left and right sides on your TV. You will need a video card that will support HD format in order to do what you want to do. Q |

Thanks for your quick reply! :-) Since I would use this graphic card only to see DVDs, TV (with a dedicated digital TV tuner) and a few other things, could you suggest me a cheap AGP card? Thanks again. Ale |

I'm not enough of an expert in driving media from a computer to be any more help, sorry. Q |

Thanks Q!
Nothing sorted out yet... Last try: as soon as I'll find a DVI card I'll do the last experiment. Use the DVI cable instead of the VGA. Thanks again. Ciao Ale |
