I went to install from my cdrom drive today and found that both my cdrom
drive and cdrw drives were not working properly. I have a Pentium III 1Ghz 512Mb Ram running Windows XP Service Pack 2. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers but both drives remain disabled with this error message - Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) I was wondering if this is caused by a service being shut off so i went through my services and just could not find anything. If possible can someone give me a hint as to where to start to get my drives working again? Thanks in advance, Reynold DeMarco Jr reynoldjr@comcast.net |
