Hard Drive Not Recognized?

Hi,

i recently installed a 200gb hard drive in my pc. i formatted it and
everything was ok. then i installed a compro dvbt300 tv tuner card with
remote. everything was working ok.

dvbt300 has a facility where by one can switch on/off the computer by
remote....

the problem: when i switch on the computer by remote, everything is ok but
when i try to run the tv program by remote then XP has no recogization of the
new drive? and program won't run, if i restart the pc manually then
everything is ok and the hard drive is recognized and the tv program works
ok.

it is only when i use the remote to switch on the computer the hard drive is
not recognized by XP and the problem. why won't XP recognize the new hard
drive at all times? it is only why i use the remote this problem occurs! only
the new hard drive is not recognized everything else works ok.

i also tried the manage option by right clicking my computer but could not
find the new hard drive only the c: drive. is there a problem with xp or the
remote and the tv tuner?

Sanjay, I'm not familiar with Tuner Card but did you install all the
software and drivers that came with it for XP?
