I have a DELL inspiron 6000 with an ALPS touchpad and When i first got it in
June, the scrolling feature worked fine. but i didn't use it for several months and now the scroll isn't working....also, i didn't have my laptop w/ me so i don't know who used it so anyone could have done something.... please help....it's so annoying to do it the old fashioned way!!! ps. i already went to the advanced settings for the touchpad and tried every option for the "wheel" options |

Call Dell and have the tech walk you thru the settings.

If that is disabled, it fails to work properly. Q |
