Hi,

I am thinking of change my display to an LCD. My job as a Graphic Designer
needed to match pre-press colouring.

I am think of an Eizo FlexScan L768. But also saw the Apple Cinema Display
20" LCD too, but displaying at 1680 x 1050 pixels (optimum resolution) I
have hear it can be attach to PC using DVI, My Display card DVI support up
to 1600x1200 resolution. Will the quality be lower or not as shaped?
Also look at Eizo FlexScan 797 with Six independent colour control, which I
like for colour adjustments.

Which should I chose?

Do a Google search on LCD monitors and see what the reviewers/testers have
said.

You did not mention contrast ratio or response time in your post, but those
are the most important items to consider when choosing an lcd.

For gaming, you want to get one with at least 700:1 contrast ratio and 6ms
response time. For graphics design, you might want to go higher. They do
make ones with 1000:1 contrast ratio now and 2ms response time, but it is
big time expensive.

Why are you asking here? What monitor you use has NOTHING to do with
the Operating System.
