Default Microsoft Wireless Mouse

Hi
Just installed this mouse and now my multi media keyboard email and Internet
shortcut buttons dont work, if I take it out and put my original ps2 mouse
in, and restart the shortcut buttons work, if I pull out the mouse out and
plug in the usb mouse the buttons still work, when I shutdown and restart
with the wireless mouse the buttons dont work, any ideas
Dave

Hi,

Try to check the mouse on another computer, if the problem doesn't existing
there – maybe you did not install the drivers good – try to reinstall them
from the IntelliType CD, or check your motherboard or to replace the mouse
location in the USB connections.
If the problem return – take the mouse to the place you bought him and ask
for replacing your mouse on new one or let them check the mouse for you –
maybe the mouse.

My English is not the best in the world so excuse me (you know mistakes and
etc.).

Good luck!

Microsoft mice use Intellipoint drivers, not Intellitype (which are for the
Microsoft keyboards.)

You seem to have a driver conflict! Make sure that you are running the latest
drivers for the multi-media keyboard (you did not mentioned if it was a
Microsoft keyboard) and the latest Intellipoint drivers (version 5.4 may not
show up directly on Microsoft's hardware pages.)
