I have a 4 port usb hub 2.0 that will recognize my scanner on one port only,
the three others report 'unknown hardware'. Is there a way to flush out the other 3 ports or reset them so that they can recognize my scanner. The 3 ports recognize other devices just fine. |

This could be the manufacture try to save money, the port you are using had
the most power the rest is salve of the master. By the way I guess your hub is non-power type? S. |

No, the hub is powered by a wart connected to wall socket. I checked device
manager, the scanner showed 0 ma, while a a connected thumb drive showed 70 ma, specs are 100 ma /port. ??
