I recently got an acomdata 80GB external hard drive because my C: drive is
constantly running out of space. I plugged it in, and it worked fine, but it was just recognized as another USB device, not as hard drive. For example, when I put my iTunes library on the external F: drive, and opened iTunes, my whole library was gone because it was no longer located in the C: drive. Then I realized that there was an installation disk, which I need, but whenever I insert it it just opens a folder with the things inside, and won't run & correctly install. I need my computer to recognize the F: drive as new, so that I can correctly run the installation process. I've tried system restore, but my latest checkpoint won't do me any good. Any advice? |
