Default CD\DVD drive does read data

I recently installed itunes for use with ipod. Now whenever I put in a CD,
the data is not displayed. I know there is data on the disc as I can read it
on another machine. I also noticed that DirectCD now shows in system tray as
"DirectCD, No Supported Drive".

I've tried uninstall of drive, itunes, and update of Easy CD Creator and
still have the problem.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

Thanks
