my dvd drive doesnt recognise cdr's in the drive it see's that they have all
been written on. i know that it writes dvd's because i have already done
this. i have tried makind data cd's and music cd's but whatever i do it just
see's that they have already been written on yet they have nothing on! it
shouldnt be a problem with the drive because its only 2 months old!

Open My Computer, right click on the drive in question and choose
properties. There should be a tab "Recording" and check the box, "Enable CD
Recording on this drive". Hope this helps.
