Using a laptop with a built in CDRW. Unable to burn any disc. (No recording tab
despite following all the instructions at MSKB) Attached a USB DVDRW and it detects my empty CD as 550Mb and unable to burn an iso. (no recording tab too) Are there any fixes or do I have to resort to a new installation? |

Have you tried killing upperfilters and lowerfilters (oddly seems to fix all sorts of crazy errors) and removing the devices from the device manager and rebooting and letting XP install them fresh?
