I have the wireless Intellimouse Explorer and I've downloaded and
installed Intellipoint 5.2 on my Fujitsu Lifebook laptop. When I plug the wireless receiver into the USB port on the laptop, Windows sees the new hardware and says it's ready to use. I can move the mouse around, the left and right clocks work as they should, and the scroll wheel works fine. However, when I go into Intellipoint and assign the buttons to different functions (wheel button closes app.), it won't work. Furthermore, when I look at the hardware description for the mouse, it shows "Microsoft PS/2 Port Mouse (Intellipoint)". I don't have anything plugged in to the PS/2 port, but this laptopn does have a touchpad. I've tried disabling the touchpad in the BIOS, but I still get the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas or other possible solutions?? Thanks! |
