For some reason my mouse doesnt seem to click correctly. I have to almost double click the icon (or whatever I am clicking) to activate the program. It doesnt seem to "catch" the first time when I click the mouse. Any ideas why this would all of a sudden happen. I am using a usb optical mouse by microsoft.

This may seem a bit simple, but if it's a cordless mouse, you may need
new batteries. |

It is a USB optical mouse .. not a wireless mouse. I dont think it uses
batteries. I cant figure out how to open the cover Bill <jimvernon2003@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1136498721.450626.137360@f14g2000cwb.googlegr oups.com... > This may seem a bit simple, but if it's a cordless mouse, you may need > new batteries. > |

Check setting at Windows explorer>Tools>Folder options>General tab> Single
click selected. Keep in mind that the "single" click (Putting cursor on item automatically does first part of double click e.g. selects the item) will not function on all mouse actions - some will still require double clicking. |
