Whenever I go to shut down or restart my computer, immediately after I click on the red Turn Off icon or the green Restart icon, something flashes on my screen for an instant, after which my computer shuts down or restarts without a hitch.
Using a video camera, I was able to see what this 'flash' really is: It looks just like the normal shut down/restart screens - the ones that say "Logging off...", "Saving your settings...", etc. - except all it has is that fancy four-color Window symbol without any text. Is this just the way XP shuts down/restarts or could I have a problem? Steven |
