Default Moniter goes blank suddenly.

My moniter seems to switch off when I'm using computer. When I try to restart
computer it wont respond to anything. I have to cut offf the power in order
to reboot system.

Go rent a monitor to check if the same behavior is exhibited. Sounds like a
bad monitor.
