Default Win XP Prof Shutdown & Startup and IIS install problem

Hi,

My system was working fine till a couple of days back.

I've uninstalled McAfee antivirus program as its licence expired and
installed MS Antispyware & CA's EZ Antivirus program. Trojan virus was caught
after that when I was browsing internet and it's access to internet was
automatically blocked by the Antivirus program, but was not deleted. As read
in some sites, I myself have gone to Registry and removed/deleted that
file(name :links) manually. After that my DotNet programs in the system are
not working. I am unable to install/uninstall IIS on the system. Shutdown is
taking hell lot of time. Whenever I am trying to start/boot the system from
then, I am always getting a prompt asking me to select Windows Normally, Safe
mode and other options.

Please let me know what may be the problem in case anyone of you faced this
problem or if anyone has an idea...

Thank You
