Hi, I've got this odd and annoying problem with some of my shortcut key
commands, they've suddenly stopped working. I can no longer use the CTRL+C,
the CTRL+V and, which annoys me the most, the CTRL+F command.
I am only aware of these at the moment, but would be grateful if anyone had
an answer to this.

First, try a restart (if you haven't.)

Then tap the Ctrl and Shift keys briskly a few times. One of them may be
stuck. Or, with the computer off, go through the keyboard and tap every key
a few times.

Can you try another keyboard?

Thanks for the tip but unforunately it didn't solve my problem.
Restarting was one of the first things I did when I discovered the problem,
didn't help thou. The keys are all working properly, none is stuck, sticky or
anything like that.
I've found something new thou: If I push and hold a non-working combination,
for example CTRL+F, I get after awhile a beep every second that doesn't occur
if I push and hold a working combination, like CTRL+X or CTRL+A

btw, I don't have another keyboard to try with yet, but I think I'll be able
to get one soon
