I have 2 computers on my home office network. Both are running WinXP Pro. I
have 2 different versions of Garamond font on the computers. I would like to have the same version on both - we use it a lot. The preferable version is described as Open Type Version2.35from Monotype. The less preferable is Garamond Antiqua True Type Version1.3 from HP. Here's the problem: If I delete the Antiqua version from the second computer and then try to install the Open Type version copied from the first computer, when the font installs, it installs itself as the TrueType Antiqua I just deleted. The problem is that although the typefaces are very similar, they size differently, and that wreaks havoc in our Publisher files. Can anyone give me a lead on why this is happening & how to correct it? Many thanks in advance, etc, etc. -- Charles Joseph Silk Purse Productions |
