When attempting to use the scanner, I receive the following
message: An error occurred during preview. If the scanner is being used, please wait for it to complete the task, and then click preview. This occurs when using the scanner through Control Panel/Scanners and Cameras or when using Adobe Photoshop Elements. I have no other program using the scanner. The scanner is already to go and scans but I cannot preview what is being scanned. It is an Epson 1000 ICS. I have Windows XP. I have add this combo printer/scanner for awhile and all of a sudden having this problem. Can any provide me with a solution? Thanks. |

Look in Event Viewer for an error report in the System log and post a copy here You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important. HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button resembling two pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now start your message(email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error Report complete with links into the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer. Hope this helps.
