Hi,
I have installed an external USB hard drive on an XP professional box. This is only visible when logged in as Administrator(for which I hold the password). I have given permission to the two other users that need to access this drive but when logged in as either of them, they cannot see the device. It does show up in devices listing however. What do I need to do to make this visible to these normal users? Thanks, Bob |

Hi Bob
See if this helps for each user account log on as that user and go to Administrative tools in control panel. Now locate Computer Management and open it. Under storage click on Disk Management. Does the USB drive appear in the right hand pane? If it does right click it and allocate a drive letter for it.
