Hello;
I have XP Professional SP2 installed on my P4 system. My Configuration is HDD 0 - WD 80GB SATA-I C: Boot and System Partitions HDD 1 - WD 80GB IDE D: Program Files 768 MB RAM P4 2.6 HT CPU NViDIA 5200 Video Card 1 IDE CDROM 1 IDE DVD ROM Recently I tried to use cipher /k command tool. and I received the following error message: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. I used System Configuration Utility and from general tab I selected Diagnostic Startup - Load Basic Devices and Services Only and restarted my system and run cipher /k command tool again and I received the same error message: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. Then I decided to try this on my second system with following configuration HDD 0 - WD 160GB SATA-2 C: Boot and System Partitions 512 MB RAM AMD Athlon 3200+ 64 CPU NViDIA 6600 Video Card 1 IDE DVD ROM I run cipher /k command tool again and I received the same error message Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. In the second system Windows XP Professional SP2 is installed with default options . There is no other program installed other than Video Card's and Motherboards drivers. The hardware of 2 systems are totally different. O/S instalation media are also different. Thanks -- One day the lies will crumble away of themselves and truth will triumph once more. |
