i'm having problems with the view (list, thumbnails, etc..) of my
folders. i've searched the forum pretty thorough... if this has been
covered let me know.

i have all my folders set up to be viewed as 'list'. i have a few
select folder that i wish to be 'thumbnails' - like 'my pictures'. i
know i'm doing something wrong, but i'm getting tired of trying to
figure it out - and having to refresh all my files to the proper view
settings on each folder visit.

things i've already tried ..

*×* tools > folder options > view > 'remember each folders view
settings'
*×* tools > folder options > view > 'folder views' area
*×* hitting the computer
