Is there a way I can restore viewing pics on incoming emails - for some reason all my incoming
e-mails now do not show pics, but blanked boxes with red cross in the corner.

Try going to Options -> Read(tab). Do you have a checkmark beside "read all
messages in plain text"?

Also check in tools..options..security tab and make sure the block
images box is not checked.

It dawned on me that this problem occured after I did a microsoft live scan (Beta). Is there any way
I can retrace back to situation before the scan? But then, I may be wrong.
