Default could not sign out

Hi,

Sorry to take up space, but I just wanted to thank the person - whose name I
can't recollect, who answered my query about not being able to sign out of
this web site.

If anyone's interested... Killing cookies, or just re-registering might do
the trick. (Microsoft, presumabely USA, didn't want to know, and told me to
tell Microsoft UK.)

And my posts to the wrong group (ref. another of my queries) seem to occur
when I sign in after choosing a group and immediately before I post, rather
than when I sign in as soon as I get on the website and before I choose a
group. I feel this issue is somehow related to .net passport's getting
confused.
