Running Windows XP Home on a PC and the start menu just disappeared when I
booted and I can only get it to appear in safe mode. It even won't appear when running Windows in Diagnostic mode. |

Press CTRL + ALT + DEL. Task Manager should appear. Go to File -> New Task
and type in explorer.exe. Press OK. Explorer.exe (startmenu/taskbar) should appear.
