Default C: Drive Icon

When I open My Computer, The C: drive icon looks like the normal drive icon
(hand holding a drive) but in a nansecond it changes to a hand with a
default MS icon ( a page with desktop type tiny icons.

I followed directions to change the registry as found on the net~used "Tweak
Manager"-same thing happens!!!!

What's up?

Don

Don,

What do you mean by "default MS icon". Are you referring to the icon
associated for "unknown" file types? A screenshot might help.
