I am trying to get Windows XP SP2 to connect to a CoPilot Bluetooth GPS
receiver using a Toshiba USB Bluetooth dongle in a Dell laptop. I know the Toshiba device works because I can connect a Windows SmartPhone to the PC. However, when I attempt to connect the GPS receiver, Windows XP recognizes it but asks for a passkey. The GPS receiver does not have any user interface and no passkey was supplied with it. No matter what I answer to this request for a passkey (including "No passkey was supplied"), Windows XP refuses to connect to the device. Can you provide any advice on how to overcome this problem? (I've contacted CoPilot but have not heard anything back from them.) |
