After a reboot from installing my HP PSC 2355 All-in-one Startup appears to
freeze on the welcome menu then eventually my empty desktop appears. After several minutes the icons and taskbar load. I know enough now that the installation process turns on the Windows Image Aquisition service and to fix this problem I have to manually disable the service. Why does this happen? Is it a HP software glitch or a Windows XP problem? |

Did it occur before installing the software and not before? If no to the first or no to the second - then you have your answer. Check the HP web page for updated drivers. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |
