When i boot my Acer Laptop, i get error WIndows could not start because
the following file is missing or corrupt \windows\system32\config\system suggest repair. My acer restore disk does not allow for simple XP repair. So i tried to use my repair on a second XP copy i had. WHen i try this, it says Inspecting----- then suddenly dies saying - "NTDETECT failed" So now, even with an XP disc, i cant even get to the recovery console or repair. So any ideas are welcome! thanks SHreenath |
