Default recovering norton off system recovery discs

While Im here, norton antivirus came with my system. I had to blank my
computer about a month ago. I used the Win xp installation cd, then the
recovery cds to get back most of my programs. But when I tried to run norton,
it hung. For hours. Now whenever I try to run it it says its missing a
trust.dll, and reinstalling might help. And it won't let me uninstall it
either. I dont know which cd has its installer. How can I fix it?
Thanks!
(Oh, Im gonna sell area 51. not worth such a headache.)

Visit Symantec web site for details of how to manually remove your version
or perhaps use the uninstall utility available on the site
