Default SFC /scannow

When using this neat little application it asks for my winxp pro cd 2.

Funny thing is I'm not running xp pro, never have.

After a series of cancel, cancel scannow continues on and I guess repairs
files.

I am using xp home with all the most current updates, etc.

Any ideas what causes this?

This usually occurs if the i386 folder has been removed from the hard disk.
Inserting your Windows XP CD should fix the problem.

That is normal, and that is the way it has been in the past, but again I'm
not running xp PRO and that is what is asking for.
